Important disclaimer: VisaVault provides travel access information for reference purposes only. Travel requirements change frequently and without notice. Always verify visa and entry requirements with the official embassy, consulate, or government authority of your destination country before travelling. Arenk accepts no liability for travel decisions made based on information provided by this app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VisaVault (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Arenk Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a UK-based technology company. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

2. Licence to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Arenk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use VisaVault on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or access control features of the App

3. Travel Information Disclaimer

VisaVault contains travel access rules and visa requirement information (the "Travel Data") bundled within the App. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Travel Data is provided for informational and reference purposes only
  • Travel requirements, visa policies, and entry conditions change frequently and may not be reflected in the App
  • Arenk does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any Travel Data
  • You are solely responsible for verifying all travel requirements with the official authorities of your destination country prior to travel
  • The App does not constitute immigration, legal, or travel advice
  • Arenk is not liable for any consequences arising from travel decisions made based on information provided by the App, including but not limited to denied boarding, deportation, or visa rejection

Always check official government sources — such as your destination country's embassy, consulate, or official immigration authority — before making any travel plans.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. As described in our Privacy Policy, VisaVault stores your document data locally on your device. We do not collect or have access to your travel document data.

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your device and any biometric authentication method you configure. Arenk is not liable for any unauthorised access to your data resulting from your failure to maintain device security.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

5.1 Free Tier

VisaVault is free to download and use within the limits of the Free tier, which includes storage for 1 passport and up to 3 visas and permits combined.

5.2 Premium Subscriptions

VisaVault offers paid Premium plans that provide unlimited document storage. Premium is available as:

  • A monthly auto-renewable subscription
  • A lifetime one-time purchase

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit 2. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's terms of service as applicable.

5.3 Subscription Billing

  • Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged at the current subscription price upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's refund policies

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we do, we will notify you in advance and provide you with the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5.5 Restore Purchases

You may restore previously purchased Premium access on compatible devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Arenk does not independently verify purchase history — restore functionality is provided entirely through Apple's App Store infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, travel rules data, and all other content, is owned by Arenk or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in or to the App or its content other than the limited licence described in Section 2.

The VisaVault name and logo, and the Arenk name and logo, are trademarks of Arenk. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree that you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the document data you enter into the App
  • Maintaining backups of your data where appropriate
  • Verifying all travel information with official government sources before travel
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to your travel
  • The security of your device and any passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID protecting access to the App

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

ARENK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from use of the App will be accurate or reliable
  • The Travel Data is current, accurate, or complete
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARENK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or device damage
  • Travel costs, immigration penalties, or deportation resulting from reliance on Travel Data
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, Arenk's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arenk and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Apple platform services (App Store, iCloud, Sign in with Apple) subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of Apple's services. Links or references to third-party services do not constitute our endorsement of those services.

12. App Store Terms

Your download and use of VisaVault is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall govern with respect to App Store-specific matters.

Arenk, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the App will immediately cease. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 14 of these Terms will survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also refer disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will provide notice through the App Store release notes or within the App. Your continued use of VisaVault after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel any active subscription.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arenk with respect to your use of VisaVault and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, or representations.
